acid and alkaline observations

2 weeks ago in our science elective we were learning about acids and alkaline

What happened ...

Observations and results

When a bath bomb comes in contact with water, the baking soda and citric acid react to make carbon dioxide bubbles. This is an acid–base reaction, where baking soda (also called sodium bicarbonate) is a weak base and citric acid is a weak acid.

This is a picture of what they look like

when we were learning about the acid and alkaline i found it hard to find out what was happening with the chemical reaction. but when i found it out it was interesting.
it was easy making it and it felt nice
