Observations and results

When a bath bomb comes in contact with water, the baking soda and citric acid react to make carbon dioxide bubbles. This is an acid–base reaction, where baking soda (also called sodium bicarbonate) is a weak base and citric acid is a weak acid.

This is a picture of what they look like 

when we were learning about the acid and alkaline i found it hard to find out what was happening with the chemical reaction. but when i found it out it was interesting.

What Christmas Means to me

 

I feel every Christmas I am going to have a great time with my friends and family and do family related stuff. It’s not all about the presents, it's about family and spending time together and doing family  things. Every Christmas my family and I go to a nice restaurant and have lunch there and we celebrate Christmas by saying a karakia for the food god gave to us. 
Christmas is the best time of the year for me because I get to do all the best things before the New Year and before going back to school. I like Christmas because I get to see all my family that I haven't seen in a long time and get to spend time with them too. There is also 1 person I will thank for creating Christmas, jesus. What does Christmas mean to you.I hope it's about family because that’s what Christmas is about.

Should we or shouldn't use plastic bottles

  Should we or shouldn't use plastic bottles

Paragraph 1 we should use  plastic bottles because they can be recycled and reused.

Paragraph 2 they can be made into another 

bottle. 

Paragraph 3 they can't break down in the landfill.

Conclusion plastic bottles are better for the environment because they don’t break down and other bottles do.    

Encouraging birds into our school

 We were learning ways to encourage birds into our school and keep them safe

I found this difficult to draw because i had to get the lines perfect

It  was easy to make the tree because i used a cloud for it and just placed it there

It was fun doing this because i got to be creative

12 days of christmas

Today we were writing our own version of the twelve days of christmas.

i found the work tricky because it was hard to think of what to write.

i liked doing it though because i got to get creative and do what i wanted to do.

i worked with other people so it was a bit easy.
